Smart City Networks Recognized at the 116th Annual Visit Denver Partnership Meeting

The 116th Annual Visit Denver Partnership Meeting brought together leaders throughout the region to reflect on another strong year for Denver’s tourism and hospitality community. Held on November 12, the event served as an opportunity to celebrate the partners and initiatives that continue to strengthen the city’s position as a premier destination for events. Smart City Networks was proud to be part of the celebration.

One of the standout moments of the gathering was the announcement of the 2025 Mile High Energy Award recipients. Smart City Networks was honored to be included in this year’s group, which also featured Visit Denver’s key partners at Denver Arts and Venues, Legends Global at the Colorado Convention Center, and Sodexo Live. The award recognizes organizations whose teamwork, commitment, and service helped make 2025 the most successful year in the history of the Colorado Convention Center.

For Smart City Networks, the recognition reflects the strength of the relationship shared with the Colorado Convention Center and Visit Denver. Jim Snook, Director of Regional Operations for Smart City Networks, spoke to the spirit behind this recognition.

“This award represents a collaboration between all partners that make events successful at the Colorado Convention Center. It is a pleasure to work side by side with everyone as we deliver world class customer service.”

Jim also highlighted the consistency and dedication demonstrated throughout the year.

“This record breaking year was the result of unwavering perseverance. Our team showed up for every convention and event with commitment, focus, and pride. Through incredible teamwork, we supported a full year of shows with resilience and collaboration that made our success not just possible, but extraordinary.”

The Smart City Networks team in Denver continued to ensure reliable, high-quality connectivity for planners, exhibitors, and attendees throughout the year. Their work helped elevate every experience inside the Colorado Convention Center.
