Smart City to Take Part in Orlando Charity Event

Smart City Telecom employees participate in Greater Orlando Heart Walk

To honor the memory of a former employee, Smart City Telecom will be participating in the Greater Orlando Heart Walk on September 26. The company’s participation in the charity event will be in memory of Ernie Moore, who passed away from a heart attack in 2014. Funds raised by the event will support the research studies and programs of the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Stroke Association.

The Orlando walk is just one of the AHA’s many events nationwide, which see engagement from more than one million participants across hundreds of cities. These events support the AHA’s mission to promote healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and strokes through physical activity. At the time of publication, Smart City Telecom has raised more than $5,000 for the Orlando event.

To participate in an event near you, volunteer, or make a monetary contribution to the organization, visit the American Heart Association’s website at http://www.heartwalk.org.
