New Year, New You!
As we begin this year, I wanted to take a moment and thank all of you on the Women’s Leadership Committee for your engagement and service. You have truly made a difference in shaping this conference and messaging in a way that is meaningful. I also wanted to thank our past chair Mindy Abel; you are a phenomenal woman who sets the right example with your leadership. I am sure you will agree that we are supported by an incredible team at IAEE. I am grateful to IAEE for their vision, dedication and guidance, year after year.
We had a wonderful experience at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition 2017 in San Antonio, TX during our inaugural Women’s Leadership session. The session was expertly planned, and the audience was engaged and participated in a way that may have surprised us all. Our esteemed panel and speaker, Emilie Airies with Bossed Up, left us wanting more.
As a reminder, please plan on registering early for the Women’s Leadership Forum 30 April – 1 May; we anticipate another sold out event. The event will be truly inspirational and will continue to focus on topics that are unique to us as women professionals.
Finally, thank you for the opportunity to serve as your chairperson for IAEE’s Women’s Leadership Committee. I am honored and humbled to work hard alongside all of you. Looking forward to seeing you in Washington, D.C.!
“I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint – and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.” – Oprah Winfrey
