Smart City Networks supports Future of Plastics Foundation

Smart City Networks proudly supports entities that are committed to promoting a sustainable environment while producing the materials that have become critical elements of our way of life. To this end, Smart City Networks presented $5,000 to the Future of Plastics Foundation prior to the opening of the International Plastics Showcase being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

“The Future of Plastics Foundation is committed to our goal of promoting a sustainable environment while ensuring Americans have the products and services they use every day,” said Mark Haley, president of Smart City Networks. “As a technology company, Smart City understands the importance of plastics and other materials to building networks and technological infrastructure that we have all become dependent on in the 21st century.”

The donation was presented by Marty Rubin, CEO of Smart City, and Patrick Sarcinella, Senior Director of Technology, South East Region for Smart City, to Bill Carteaux, president and CEO of the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI) on behalf of the Future of Plastics Foundation.

“We greatly appreciate the support of Smart City and have found them to be a great partner to work with at the OCCC in providing the wireless networks and EventPath remote registration for our International Plastics Showcase, NPE2012,” said Carteaux.
