Smart City Networks at Expo! Expo!

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) held their annual Expo! Expo! event at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas (KBHCCD) in December, and Smart City Networks was proud to participate! This gathering included trade show and exhibition managers from around the world who met to discuss the latest industry trends. Smart City provided complimentary Wi-Fi for the event, and overall had a major presence on the show floor.

Our booth attracted a steady flow of visitors, fueled by the buzz surrounding Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. Partnering with Unified Command, Smart City installed cameras inside our booth, as well as at the entrance of the convention center hall. These cameras fed a local server, generating valuable analytics and event insights which were displayed in real-time on a dashboard inside Smart City’s booth.

The analytics server meticulously tracked attendee movement through predetermined zones set up before the start of the event, offering accurate insights into attendee hall entries and exits, Smart City booth visits, visit durations, and overall foot traffic. Leveraging cutting-edge AI capabilities, the server scanned an extensive image database of over 800,000 images to identify visitor demographics and provide detailed metrics, such as peak attendance times and average dwell times. This comprehensive data provided insights into peak activity hours and average visitor duration within our booth. Furthermore, the platform is equipped with behavioral analytics, including in-depth analysis of visitors’ moods, allowing for a stronger understanding of attendee engagement.

In an industry where data reigns supreme, this new offering empowers our clients to evaluate event success, identify areas for enhancement, make informed decisions, and optimize resource allocation to ensure overall success and growth. At Expo! Expo!, Smart City Networks had the privilege to unveil game-changing and groundbreaking technological solutions, marking another significant step in redefining the customer experience through innovation within the event industry.
